Yes, yes, yes!!
I’m a little embarrassed that it’s taken me this long to hear the news, but I am (very) happy to announce (to those who haven’t heard) that the hit HBO series Sex and the City is coming to the big screen.
Have I mentioned that Carrie Bradshaw is my idol? And that I am practically the same person as Sarah Jessica Parker? (Born in Ohio, left-handed… that’s basically all you need to know that we’re the same person.)
I put away my hopes for the movie shortly after the series ended; I had heard that Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones) wouldn’t agree to do the movie because she was unhappy with the fact that Parker would be making more money in the film, but according to all the news stories thing have been worked out.
So far only the four leading ladies have been confirmed, but there’s really no way they can make this movie without the men. A Sex and the City without Chris Noth just isn’t worth watching. But I guess I’m not that worried. I mean there’s just no way that he was willing to do a movie with Hillary Duff but he won’t sign on with the SATC crew. (And no, I did NOT view The Perfect Man, and quite honestly, I closed my eyes for the previews. There are some things a woman just can’t bear to watch.)
