Yes, that’s right - I’m going on vacation.

Well, kind of.

The truth is that today marks my first day ‘out of the office’. I’m heading to Canberra for a writer’s conference, where I will be socializing, talking on discussion panels (eek) and doing other writerly type things.

But that doesn’t mean this site will be empty! Starting tomorrow, I will have some preposted things going up just like usual. My lovely friend Jenera has also been kind enough to donate her time and energy, and she has some guest posts for you about relationships in her life. Those will be going up next week.

I’m still around today and not technically out of the office, but I’m so busy packing and preparing all the last minute stuff that today still counts in my book as the first day ‘away’.

If you have any dire issues, feel free to contact me, but keep in mind I’ll be doing a final email check today (Wednesday) night (Australian time) and then I can’t promise that I’ll be online until I’m back home (which probably won’t be until the 12th). I am going to try to pop in, but I don’t know if I should even mention that… (When I’m away from the computer/internet for a few days, I tend to avoid coming back until I have to.)

I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful week. Don’t have any really big parties while I’m gone because I’ll probably just get jealous and pouty.
