Long Relationships Award Reminder and Other Things
This is just a reminder that Long Relationships is up for an award! There is a lot of excellent ‘competition’ for this one, so I’m very happy to be a part of it.
I wouldn’t usually promote anything you need to sign up to vote for, but Divine Caroline is a great site with a lot of excellent articles and conversation going on. Once you’ve signed up, you can write your own articles, comment on other peoples’ articles and all sorts of other things.
It’s definitely worth checking out, even if you don’t care to vote for me. I appreciate everyone who does! Honestly, I don’t think I can get the number of votes some of the other sites are getting, but I do appreciate every single one I get.
In other news…
Okay, I admit it; I was a bit melodramatic yesterday. Mr. JM will not be gone for months and months like I made it sound. He’s gone until Saturday (possibly longer if problems arise). BUT I meant what I said. We don’t like being apart, even though the refresher is probably good for our relationship.
I didn’t mean to make anyone wrinkle their nose or anything like that. The first anniversary may mark the official move away from ‘newlywed’, but Mr. JM and I are newlyweds through and through in behavior - especially when it comes to us being separated in any way.
Maybe it’s that we had to spend a year apart when we started out, maybe it’s something else. Who knows? Either way, you’ll have to forgive my melodramatic tendencies.
